Hi, I’m Pranav. I’m a go-to-market specialist for cloud networking at Amazon Web Services.
As a Senior Business Developer in AWS networking, I work on how our connectivity services reach customers and partners: shaping the go-to-market motion, building partner relationships, and helping enterprises map their network strategy onto AWS. I’m the bridge between what the service can do and why it matters to the business buying it.
Go-to-market
My background is technical, which is what makes the go-to-market work click. I can sit with a network architect in the morning and a partner’s sales leadership in the afternoon and speak both languages.
- Partner go-to-market. Building joint motions with channel and technology partners, from first conversations through field alignment.
- Field enablement and demand. Helping run AWS Activation Days: hands-on workshops in Dallas, Seattle and New York on modernizing AWS network architecture, connectivity and application networking.
- Taking a product to market. At Hughes I built the HughesON SASE product and helped bring it to market. It was named INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year in 2022.
- Pre-sales leadership. I’ve led solutions architecture and pre-sales engineering teams, turning complex networking and security offerings into deals customers could say yes to.
Cloud networking
The technical side is where I started, and it’s still what I enjoy most.
- AWS connectivity. Network design patterns from a single VPC to multi-region and multicloud, using services like AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Cloud WAN, Amazon VPC Lattice and AWS PrivateLink.
- SD-WAN and SASE. I’ve designed SD-WAN infrastructure for several Fortune 100 companies, and worked hands-on with Fortinet, VMware, Cradlepoint and Meraki.
- Wireless and satellite. LTE, 5G, private wireless, and LEO and GEO satellite links as part of the enterprise network.
I’ve also served as a technical advisor on several networking and security vendor boards.
